Cylinder Head Overhaul World Record ?

Post by Kevin »

I just wish to say that no-one had better complain about a Moggie specialist within my hearing as the treatment I am receiving from a specialist in A series engines in Coalville (not a moggie specialist) is bordering on the unbelievable :( .
I was recommended to them as being the place to take my 1275cc Midget head to for some work and an unleaded conversion, so I went there in March and was told 3 – 4 weeks and as I was not in a hurry that was fine.
Well as I had not heard from them after 2 months I attempted to contact them, I left umpteen messages an their answer machine non were or have been ever returned and as for emails I have only had 2 replies in all that time.
The excuses and reasons I have been given would have done any school playground proud, with a piece of luck I spoke to someone on the phone just over 2 weeks ago to be told it would be finished on the Wednesday and be with me on the Friday.
Well guess what a further week and a half past the ETA and still nothing and no response to emails and phone calls yet again, so at over 4 months and counting is this a new world record for getting a cylinder head worked on
I am just glad that I had the other machining work done else where because I would not like to estimate how long a whole engine would take.
I just hope that when its done and in my possession that the work is as good as I have been told because its the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I still have no idea when my head will arrive, now if I could just remember who it was that recommended them to me
Cheers

Not sure of distance involved, but you need to go and take it back off of them.
