Harris HospisCare are looking for 75 cars to join their first Sunday Run Classic Car fundraising event on Sunday 28th September which starts and finishes at Penshurst Place & Gardens in Tonbridge.
Drivers will set off for a 100 mile round trip, stopping off at Herstmonceux Castle in East Sussex for a handmade picnic, a chance to visit the 15th century castle and wander around the carefully maintained Elizabethan gardens before returning to Penshurst Place for afternoon tea and a prize giving ceremony.
The event is open to all motoring enthusiasts but it is hoped that as many classic car owners as possible will enter the event.
Entry fee per car is £40 and all participants are asked to raise a minimum of £60 in sponsorship. All proceeds will go to Harris HospisCare, a small day hospice based in Orpington, Kent who are hoping to raise £12,000.
