I was out for a drive in the Morris yesterday and was overflown by a Vulcan. Just for a moment I was transported back to the 60's.
I read today it was going to the Farnborough Airshow.
Happy days!
Not my photo by the way I wish I'd had my camera with me.

Hello Dale,
There was a discussion on another forum and the engine was discussed. The name Olympus, and I thought it was a Bristol engine that was fitted to the Concord airliner.
After a quick google, it was in fact a Bristol Siddley engine and presumably Rolls Royce took them over? But the same power plant basically on both aircraft, with afterburners in both case, rare for a commercial aeroplane.
I saw the Vulcan flying at RAF Valley when I was in school and I must say very impressive it was.
