Famous in China!

Post by 10852sm »

Hi all,

I was sitting tonight in a resturant in GanZhou city, South East China. I looked out of the window and at the top of the building opposite was a huge advertising hoarding showing a white Traveler with some chinese surfers standing around it. It was advertising clothes I think, unfortunatley I havent got a camera here, however there was a link to a website www.tonlion.com but it seems to want to load a big file when you go to the site and it wont work here.

I would be interested if the picture is also on the website

Worst. Website. Ever.

It's this hideous flash application with loud background music that took literally an hour to load over broadband. Here is the image I think you mean (shrunk down a bit):
Image
Also, that bicycle leaning on the wall must be the biggest bike in the world!! I think their perspective is a bit askew.

It's unusual - with the 'wood' effect sides at the rear. I doubt very much if the true owner has any idea the car is featuring in this advert!

I will practice leaning on my bonnet to compare leg lengths for plausibility. Will it work with a 2dr or does it have to be a traveller? Also mine is black, will that make a difference?
