Hi Guys,
This is probably really obvious, but I can't work it out! I'm having to replace the headlamp bucket on my '54 series 2. The headlamps are connected with a round bakalite connector which is too big to go through the hole on the back of the bucket. Getting the old one out was easy, I just enlarged the rust hole till it went through. I guess I have to take the connector off to put the new bucket in then reconnect it after, but I can't see how to take the connector off. Please help, I don't want to break it!

I would disconnect the wires inside the engine bay and remove the whole headlight loom, then feed them through small end first.

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.
