Leicester Branch Rally - 31 August 2008

Roll up Roll up - Everybody is invited to join us on 31 August for the Leicester Branch Rally at Quorn Station of the Great Central Railway - Non members & other classic vehicles welcome. You can enter on the day but pre-booking would make it easier for planning and less hassle on the day.

After another round of musical stations the music has stopped and the Leicester Rally is back at Quorn Station as originally planned.
The same weekend was going to be the public launch of "Tornado" the brand new steam loco that has been built over the last 20 years or so but this has now been delayed so Quorn is now available again which has much more room for us.
The 2 stations are fairly close and we have been promised signs & staff at Rothley will redirect anyone who arrives there.
Please ask for any further info

Rally is at Quorn Station on Woodhouse Road between Quorn and Woodhouse - best to approach from the A6 South of Loughborough and follow the signs for QUORN STATION - a postcode nearby is LE12 8AL

Well 30 cars have booked in so far - Hopefully a fine weekend will bring out the crowds on the day.

Just got back. It was nice to meet a few of you from the messageboard again, and was overall a very enjoyable rally (despite the lousy weather).
