Replacing ignition switch

Post by worrasf »

The ignition key on my 1963 Traveller is so worn it falls out and rops on the floor :o I have just ordered a new switch barrel and keys but am unsure how to remove the old one from the dash and fit the new barrel. Mine is the ignition key and pull start type. Would appreciate some hints please.
Thanks
Steve

Thanks Dan - I'm grateful. Wil give me an opportunity to replace the warning bulbs etc in the speedo at the same time.

Regards
