Morris Minor Owners Club

Hi I am putting disc brakes on my two door minor but I have been told that I will have to remove a small seal from my m/c which by the way is new. Could some one help by telling me which seal I have to remove

It's the little one that fits inside a metal cup and looks a bit like a top hat.
