Argghh!!!...I give up!!

I am having big problems getting my off side head lamp working.

Recently I replaced the nearside front wing, both headlamps were in full working order at the time. On replacing the headlamp with the new wing on it still worked perfectly.....the only problem being that the other headlamp has started playing up. It works OK on dipped, but when put on main beam it goes out all together!

Is it coincidence that the headlamp on the other side of the car to which the work was being done has gone on the blink...or is there a more rational explanation? Any ideas?

Since the dipped part works ok it proves that your earth,
(chassis) return path is ok so assume that you have merely
disturbed the 'bullet 'connectors which you will find on the
off side inner wing to the left of the radiator. The dipped
lead is BLUE/RED, the main beam is BLUE/WHITE..
since the blue/red circuit is working ok I would get at the
back of the headlamp and short across the two outer
terminals( the centre one is the earth). obviously, both
filaments should light up if not,it's a new unit needed
