1098 clutch cover upgrade. Hillman Hunter?

Has anyone got 'the gen' on the correct cover to upgrade the cover plate pressure on the 1098 clutch? I'm after a cover to stop the slip on this A+ 1275 engine and have faint recollections that a Hunter 1.7 cover had the same diameter and took a carbon thrust bearing. Any ideas?
I have a new 1098 Minor Borg and Beck clutch kit via a well known major Minor Parts supplier that not only slips but was incorrectly assembled in the factory. One of the release lever arms wasn't sat on the pivot point at all but had been adjusted! Lucky I spotted it.

Thanks

I didn't know there was an upgrade I have used the standard clutch with both Midget and Marina engines with no issues.

My standard marina clutch is marginal on my engine. If I give it some welly I get a burny clutch smell!

I use the standard 1098 plate on my "mild" 1293 Midget with no slippage at all. I do give it some welly now and again as well! 8)

Maybe I need a bit more 'bedding in'? It is in the Lenham Midget and is pushing a much lighter car (albeit not as light as the spaceframe midget!)

PS Thanks for the little metal plate, matey! It'll be cleaned up and fitted soon.
