I was very surprised to see this car when I saw it the registration hit me and knew it was familiar and the fact that it was stnading next to the first Minor continued to give reaosn to my suspisions that it was indeed the last Minor built in 1974 from NOS parts any news how it ended up there? never knew it survived

No idea. It had gone on the Sunday though.....

very true Alex I was hoping they'd put some history on it! It wasn't there on Sunday because it seems the museum had no insurance for sunday on it! sa had to eb taken away, this was said to be by a member of the MMOC commitee

I really liked this car - and same olive colour as a wolseley I travelled in once. Such a shame though that it was beginning to fray round the edges a bit - especially rear quarter to wheel arches.

I suggested at committee that all the cars in the display, amongst other things, have a board showing their year, original purchase price etc. Unfortunately it appears this was not taken on board

NWL 576 had a board providing details of the car so perhaps your suggestion was partly taken 'on board'

That one was possibly supplied by Gaydon. As initially I was going to be involved in arranging that display, I was already investigating the details ready to post.

The last car had a magazine on the front seat about its aftermarket production...

I didn't see that. And the board for NWL was the Gaydon one.
