Hi all, just been looking at some of the National Rally pic's, wish I had taken the decision to travel down and back on Sunday, I checked the forecast and it said Rain & more Rain! (Would have been over a 10hr journey for me from Scotland tho!!) I hope all of you that made it enjoyed it (lucky so and so's!!) Anyway, back to my post, did anyone take any photos of a morris million? I have been in touch with a chap who has one for sale but says he cannot send me any photos because he doesnt have a camera! (hmmmm) He did say he might be attending the national rally as he lives in Northamptonshire. Was he there? did anyone see a million for sale?

Hi Croft, I don't know about the Million, but we traveled down from Scotland in our little van, maybe we can all go down in convoy next year

Yes he lives down the road from me, I can tell you the car is MOTed and restorable but will need a lot of work cosmetically, it is the one on the left in louise's photo but you can't really see the rusty bits on that.

As the others have said Jonathan was there and had the car on the million stand for sale (I even drove it down from the camp site for him one morning). 5K was his start price but he has an idea of what he wants for it.

It does look pretty ratty, but the underside has had a lot of work done and the engine is newly reconditioned. The semaphores have been filled in and the wipers swapped over, it would take a bit to restore and put back to original condition but I'm sure it would return it in its value (given a good million must be worth 8k +)

If you want his phone number to talk to him let me know.

Hi Rupert, nice to know theres another Minor owner not to far away! I would be very interested in joining you to travel down south. Out of interest which route did you take and how long did it take you?

Hi Rob, nice to know the Million does exist! I was begining to wonder! I cant remember where I saw it advertised but I contacted the guy and he said it was still for sale but he was unable to provide any photos of it and was a bit vague with his description of it. Edinburgh to Northampton is a long way just to look at a car especially if its not what he said it was. I wonder if he had much interest in it at the show or is he a bit overpriced? Out of interest does anyone know approx how many Millions are now left?
