I know a standard Midget LCB wont fit a Minor. Question is, has anyone modified one to fit. Was it easy or a pain in the butt.

No idea, but I do know I have a standard Midget that doesn't currently have an LCB...

I had one ages ago that I was going to modify and fit but just seemed too much work. You have to cut out about a four inch section to shorten it so it doesnt foul on the engine bay floor and angle the join so it can exit in the standard place. Hope that kind of makes sense. It was a few years I contemplated doing this.

Extensive changes to the basic pipe shapes and would not have thought worthwhile?

It would fit A35/A40/Sprite/Midget (excl 1500).

Is there no hope of it squeezing down between engine and chassis leg ? Is the space just too tight Ian ?

Roy, as you will see above I don't have one yet. Just wondered what was involved to change it. The annoying thing is there was one on ebay about a month ago, it went for £16. But my computer crashed for the week. can you imagine my language???

£16 would be fine - but it would take some modifying - I have two x Mini lcbs lying spare - and 'someday' I plan to make a Minor lcb from the bits !

That looks nothing like any Spridget one I've ever seen! It does, however, look rather Minorish...

Roy, The £16 was for a MINOR one :(
Packedup, If you see the photo taken from above you will see it is not a Minor one, it doesn't come out far enough to go through hole in engine bay.

Ahh - I see! The 'pink' one looks not too far away - I guess it could be modified to fit relatively easily.
