Heater Repair

Post by JustinMinor1000 »

The heater blower on our 1969 Minor 1000 2 door saloon has conked out. It has a very low resistance and will not run.

If I take the whole thing out and it turns out that it's not seized is it possibel to get a new motor for it or do I have to shell out for a new heater ?

1st thing check that you do not have a duff connection and that the switch is still OK, no you do not need a new one there are plenty of second hand ones around, you can even adapt a mini one to fit.
The other alternative is to upgrade with a more powerful one from the Birmingham Morris Minor Centre however they are not cheap £135:00 + vat.
