Does anyone know the RIM PROFILE? I am going crazy!

Hello. I a m using some morris minor rims on a home made boat trailer and am needing to know the rim profile of the rims for the Australian compliance plate.

They're 14 inch, 4 studs with 145 radials on them - and are the original rims that came with the car (1956? or so?).

I understand that it may be stamped onto the rim, yet they have a nice thick coat of paint and I was wondering if anyone might know - which would save me a lot of trouble!

The Australian governments example of a rim profile says: 5.00 J.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

Thanks. Dave.

I think 3.50 J. Does it really matter - just tell them that!

You guys are legends... Thanks very much for the help!! Because the trailer was originally built in the 60's, they're being very pedantic about the information!

Thanks again.

My doubts on this subject were about the 'J' section - the standard rims are certainly 3.5" wide - but not absolutely sure they are 'J'. However - I doubt it matters - and I seriously doubt they will come out and check it!!
