I know a bike shop that offers "£50 Any Bike, Any Condition"... and very small "terms and conditions apply".

When I went in to offer them my slightly defunct (gear and tyre less) common as muck 1970s Raleigh Traveller, it turned out those terms and conditions ultimately boiled down to "less than 10 years old and in running order, or valuable vintage in good condition"...

It'll be interesting to see what they say though!

Well, i was expecting a computer generated reply telling me how morris minors dont exist or somesuch tosh but i got the following from a chap ( maybe chappese) called Chris Rawson.

Hi Rob,
Your picture brought a smile to my face as a pal of mine at Reading University had one in the early eighties !!!
Unfortunately, We would value this purely as an old car and take little or no account of it’s classic status !!
You would achieve a much better price marketing it to enthusiasts through a specialist website or magazine.
Good Luck !

What a pleasant suprise

Thanks to Chris for restoring my faith in human nature

I just thought id add this on.
If you phone 118 118 and ask them "where is my morris minor leaking oil from?"
then you will get a text back with words to the effect of "sorry we dont know but please bear us in mind in the future"
