Morris Minor Owners Club

Hi, just joined the board, thought I would introduce myself.

Just bought a 58 morris minor 2 door. Gonna build a 60s style drag race funny car from it ( sorry to all those who are now hanging there heads in disgust)

I got the car for just under a grand Canadian. The whole car is there but has some floor and rot problems. Body is very clean though. No interior really, but i mean in a race car ill only need a seat and a tachometer, lol.

Well anyway when I get some pics ill be sure to post them up.

your plans for a drag car sound excellent, make sure to post photos of progress! Would be great to see some film of the car in action, too

Dropping a V8 in sounds reasonable to me! Are you going gasser style? It's been a while since I saw a Minor like that.
