This maybe a stupid question but here goes;
So how hot does the moggy heater really get?

I ask this because mine could really do with some new paint, so will normal black paint be fine? I don't need any special heat proof radiator paint or anything do I?

I seem to remember I sprayed mine with a black aerosol can of paint (normal gloss black car type paint) and it has been fine.
