Hey all, just in the middle of finishing off the nigglely bits of the electics on mona and ive got the heater to do, Which wire does the heater tap into? one wiring diagram seemed to show it coming off the oil pressure light!

That is correct but you can take the supply from any of the Dark Green
junctions as they are all supplied by the fuse which is only live with ignition ON.

Obviously you must take that feed BEFORE the oillight - if you take it after the light then the light will glow as it earths out through the heater!! And - the heater will hardly turn over never mind blow air.

IIRC the heater feed is off a bullet, but the bullet is fed from the back of the instrument stabiliser!

There's a green wire (ign switched fused live) goes to the back of the stabiliser, then on the same terminal (double male) another wire comes off and into the loom, appearing again a bit further down with a bullet on it. The hearter plugs into that one.

Although, as said, a feed from any of the green wires (not light green, although there's only one and that's to the fuel gauge) will do :)

There is an excellent 'sticky' wiring schematic at the top of this section which makes it all very clear.
