Hi all, I was looking through some old paper work and remembered that I used touse a place called Mr Grumpys in toddmerdon 'up north'. It was late 90`s and I havnt seen any mention of him since ive been active on here. Is he still going?

No, I think he's still there (or was a couple of years ago) but doesn't deal in Minors any more. ESM sell some of the products he developed (eg. the quarterlight latches).

I think Grumpy's Mill is full of arts and crafts studios.

he had a doctorate from oxford I think, cant remember what in though. and IIRC he lived upstairs. I used to love the idea of a ramp in a loading bay leading to a much larger workshop!

They had been my favourite supplier as they also sold second hand stuff as well as non standard stuff - allowing far more to be 'got' in one trip. I have a Grumpy's rolling frame and one one car I used one of their aftermarket engine top steady's.
Grumpy's Minors relocated midlands vs 'north' before they stopped altogether.
