I'm sure this is answered obviously somewhere around here, but I'm pretty cyber-stupid, (and a little impatient) so how do I attach a photo of my car to my posts? Thanks, and feel free to point out the obvious!

go to www.photobucket.com create an account upload your photos to the photobucket (quite easy) then under each pic you wil have a code copy and paste that code over here

Scale the images down to a sensible size first, and after you paste the image address you have to put after it to make it show up as an image.

Hey, Frank and Alex, Thanks. But, paste it where?

At the top of this page (under Celebrating 60 Years) there are a number of headings: Faq, Memberlist, usergroups, profile etc.

When you are signed in, click on 'profile'. You will then be directed to a page containing a box with the words "Change your PostNuke profile".

Click on this box and you will be directed to another page containing your details. There is a box marked "signature". Paste your image address there and click on "save changes".

Hopefully this makes sense :)

You still don't have a signature picture so maybe not :-?

Hmmm, I have gone through all those steps- several times- and still no photo! I've pasted in the image address, "save changes" and...nothing. I've even tried copying and pasting the pic itself. Where am I going wrong?

Try clicking on 'profile' and pasting your image address directly in the 'signature' details box - make sure you have put after it. Then make sure that in the list of 'preferences' you have ticked YES to the question "Always attach my signature". Then click on the Reset button at the bottom of the page.

No, click 'Submit' not 'Reset'. You want to submit your changes to the system, not reset them to the defaults.

Hey, is it possible to resize the image in the code here rather than resizing the actual uploaded image? it's a pain uploading it and then noticing it's too big!

Would it be useful if the MMOC provided some hosting space for Sigs and pictures for the messageboard?

Personally I'd be wary of that in case it got miss used. But if the pics can be vetted I can't see a big issue. However there are many free hosting sites already.
