Having bought two wide wheels for my van (Banded, but well done, and I know all the myths about them being illegal but cant find any hard proof! ) I now find one of them runs out of true in one spot by about half an inch, does anybody know of company,s blacksmiths etc that could whalop it back true for me?

Do both flanges run out of true - or just one - or is the whole wheel out of true on the centre, ie - is the centre area buckled, pulling the whole wheel to one side?

Seems to be one spot, both flanges as though its been slid into a kerb sideways.

Hmm - doesn't sound easy to sort out. I suppose you could bolt it on the car - and try to apply some force via a lump of timber and a BFH and see if you can at least reduce the run-out.
