I got my moggy bonit open yesterday by simply stiking my finger through a hole between the boniit ans the grill and undoing a latch but when i closed it and came back to it the gap had gone and i have no idea how to open it now. ive loooked inside but to no luck. I tryed pulling a chain nothing. Could any body help?.

The main bonnet release is a wire handle under the far right-hand side of the dashboard, near the driver's right knee. You pull on it and the bonnet pops open far enough to get to the safety catch.

Nope cant find it. You said a wire to pull to the far right side neer the knee. Is it neer the black box thing in the middle under the dash?. Keep in mind that the car is left hand drive. Would this make any diffrence?. Also how would i go about getting the bonit open if the mechanism is broken?.
Thanks

OK, if it is LHD then it will be near the passenger's right knee. I think the handle is very unlikely to be missing.

In a corner of the garage where it doesn't get in the way of my feet when I'm driving!

Yay!. I found it but it wasnt like it was in the picture. I have a black shelf there and mine was alot more rusty. And mine has a big black bix under the dash. still dont know what that is for.

Not sure its just like a black shelf under the dash and glove compartments. But what ever it is its ugly.

Just a small question. I have come to conecting my terminals to the batery i have found one but the ther seems to be conected to the battery tray??. Should it be?. I would folow the leads fron the alternator or starter motor but my torch only stays lit for a few second before cutting out on me.

Yes, the earth lead of the battery should be connected to the body of your car as the earth return goes through the car chassis.
Buy a better torch or a lead lamp!
BTW, turn the engine using the starting handle and squirt a little oil in the spark plug holes before attempting to start the engine.

Okay thanks. But the earthwire?. Should there be a terminal conecter for possitive and negative?. So i just conect the earth wire straight to the batery?.

Do you know whether it has been converted to negative earth?

Nope no idea, would it be safe to try conect the positive to the positive and the earth to the negative.

Has it got an alternator, radio, or electronic ignition fitted?

Well ive yet to find the radio in it. well i havent messed around inside yet but i dont think one is there. For electrical ignition im not sure what yyou mean it uses spark plug yes. If you mean does it use a coil then im not sure . As for the alternator im not sure either but i have this pic frm google wich has what i have
I also have that thing ontop i think might be a coil. Sorry i dont have much info on it. If been abandond is a field to rock for some time and the owner didnt know anything about it just that he wanted it gone.
