Hi.
I recently posted some images of my sign traveller van on this forum.
Please could any of you guys give some advice on where and how I go about an independant insurance valuation for the car, I am with AON and insured but they need a valuation for the vehicle. They won't insure the glass,no one will.
Thanks
Dave Torquay

Hi Dave,

If you contact MMOC head office, the very efficient staff there will send you a list of approved insurance valuation people - there might be one near you.

You could also ask AON whose opinion they would accept?

Bonne chance,

We had our cabriolet valued by Rob the Teck at a National.

I had a similar insurance dilemma with Aon. Charles Ware did a full rebuild which cost a lot more than the top book value. They could not accept a valuation from the restorer, so I had to get another company, Auto Classico Specialist Cars Ltd. in Bristol to do a valuation. This cost £50 but meant that Aon have given me an agreed value.

It is certainly possible and definately worth doing.
