I have a minor that has a Rover V8. The car is blue and has been widened.

Has anybody come across this car as the rear diff is knocking and I cannot find out what type it is (some type of Ford)

Write up on car - it is Granada rear end.

Thanks but I am struggling to get hold of the correct one. I am not sure if it is off a particular year or model as I have tried 3 now with no joy. Do you know if Jim Wright is still about / member or have an email for him.

Thanks

Sorry, I can't help any further. My only suggestion is that you photograph what you need and post a wanted ad on the appropriate Ford forum.
Is it the ratio you can't get, or is it a fitment problem?

Hi,

Is there a metal tag on one of the rear cover bolts on the diff housing??
My Sierra diff has one.

Maybe your local Ford dealer can cross reference the number on the tag and tell you which model it came from???

An ask on here might help;-

www.locostbuilders.co.uk

They use these diffs a lot in kit cars

Cheers

Martin :D
