Change Over indicators.

Hi all, does anyone have any expeiance with the changeover indicators, the ones where it flashes the side and tail lights?
Im in the process of finishing a rewire that i started about 5 years ago! I didnt have the foresight to photo all the connections and the old indicator had a pull dip switch too. Does anyone know how everything should connect under the steering column? should it be matching colors?
p.s. I snapped the Dynamo spindle trying to take the dynamo pully off!!!
