i have a problem with the fitting from tho banjo to the front brakes.
i seem to have been spinning it for what must have been 30 minutes and it isn't coming out any further?

The end of the pipe has probably been squashed by over tightening as Ray says in his write up.
A bit of brute force may be needed to pull the pipe out
If you
have to reuse a pipe like this you will need to file
around the edge of the flared end otherwise it will not clear the threads.

it looks like it has become cross-threaded on the way out? is halfway out and on a bit of an angle. I will replace all the fittings and pipe anyway.
ended up taking the banjo off.
now iwth the mastercylinder out im not surprised that it was leaking

Seriously consider renewing BOTH parts if you suspect the threads have been damaged in any way.
