MM Glovebox Colour

Post by Keith »

Hello, I know this has been discussed before, but I can't seem to find the postings.

Can anyone give me the colour code for the glovebox, speedo cover, steering column, wheel on the series MM early series 2. It is a light brown goldish colour. Mine has faded somewhat but its more light brown than gold. Any advise would be much appreciated.

thanks Keith

I believe Martin O' Dowd used to supply the correct paint.
Try kathleen.odowd@mmoc.org.uk.
See you at the Series MM Rally.

I got mine from ESM in an aerosol can with a clear laquer and I think the can was marked with a Toyota number - jolly good match, but I didn't have enough to do the small panel around the ignition switch! (I think most of it went on the parcel shelf)

CarPaintsPlus in Bridgend were comissioned to match the exact colour, texture and metailic mix for the gloveboxes. They sampled dozens before finalising the cellulose formula. Call Dale and mention Rob-with-the-red-MGC-and-the-aeroplane. :D About £15-20 for a litre.
