Just to let everyone know about a company local to me
AA Electro Platers & Anodisers in Caxton Way, Watford.
Who carry out all sorts of plating finishes including chrome have just added a power coating facility at their works :D

Good to know, I was thinking of gettin my grille powder coated. Doesnt matter what paint I put on it it still gets chipped off.

A bit of advice regarding powder coating.

If you want a top job doing the company should follow these procedures.

Preparation of the metal is very important. If it is rusty or painted then it requires blasting.

If it is just bare metal then a phosphate dip and oven dry is good.

A zinc rich primer should be applied before the powder coating.

Powder coating done in this way will be very tough. With out the prep there is a good chance it will flake off after a while.
