Is anyone going to the nationals at Stanford?
It would be good to meet up with some of the modified crew

We will be there although there won't be any judging this year. We'll have the banner there too so all the modifieds can park together if they want to.

might be able to join you, if a barely-road-legal mad-coloured van is your idea of fun  might spend some time with the LCV boys too 8)

hey cross your fingers for me, guys, that I do get it put together and MOTed in time! :)

Hi guys, hope you all enjoy the rally, but a quick hint: If you want to park together then you must arrive together. This is covered in the rally notes sent to all entrants, but everyone will be parked up as they arrive with no reserved spaces. I look forward to seeing your cars on display.

Will we be able to reserve an area of the campsite?

AFAIK the website crew already has it's own section for camping but I'll drop young Mr Stone an email to confirm.

Hi,

Has everyone else on here pre-booked or are you just turning up on the day??
Trying to decide what to do.

Also, thinking out loud, if we have to come in together to park together than what about meeting somewhere nearby on the morning????

Good idea? Bad idea? Impractical?

Cheers

Martin :D

Is the idea to park in the camping area, move the car to the rally field in the morning, then move it back in the evening? Or do we have to park in the rally field and move our tents and things over to the camping area on foot?

I'm planning to arrive Friday evening.

Campsite is open for all campers including cars. It's only when you drive the cars to the rally site itself that you get parked as you arrive; so Friday PM park in campsite next to your tent, Saturday (if you want) move to rally site and then back to campsite in evening, back to rally site on Sunday.
