Hi,

A number of years ago i purchased a Mr Grumpys roll over jig in kit form. Unfortunately i have now lost the assembly instructions, so If anyone can email me a set i would be most grateful and so would my moggie!

Thanks for the comments so far. Tried ESM and whilst helpful the don't have the instructions. I’ve welded most parts together (about 3 years ago)bar the hub connecting assembly to the j shaped steel, so essentially i need to know which what way the thick plates are welded to the j steel and the distance from the prop end or lift end?

Any further help much appreciated.

Try contacting ESM- they bought Mr Grumpys business several years ago when he retired and they might have copies of the instructions to send to you.

I lost my instructions too (they weren't waterproof enough for a Minor boot). However the kit is very simple...
If you get stuck to build it, I can send you photos of mine (I bought mine 2nd hand)


When welded up:
The main sections go on the hubs and the thin piece/s joins them together high up (roughly speaking, near the roof rail).
Then you get a handful of strong people to roll the car and someone else to fit the feet when it is rolled.

Best to drain all fluids (engine oil, gearbox oil, axle oil) remove battery, and if brakes are intact, then you can block the master cylinder cap breather with a suitably sized round pin.

If the engine and gearbox is out, the car can be rolled with 3 fit blokes. If the car is complete, then 5 makes the job easier.
