two speed wiper motor

Hi all, I want to fit a mini two speed wiper, I have a 65 two door, Wipers both in the same direction. what size gear wheel do I need as there are diforent degrees.

Try it and see - the wiping angle depends on the motor gear wheel AND the wiper box gears. I suggest first try with NO blades fitted - then fit the driver side and then if all well add the passenger side.

Hmm not sure if it is suitable otherwise this would have been on the board a few times before and I am not sure what the kits come from that the specialists sell.

The Mini has had a number of different motors over the years - which is why I advised try and see. Don't see the need for two speed wipers on a Minor myself - although I did increase the speed of my wipers on the Rally car by introducing a variable resistance in the field circuit. Reduced field current gives faster running - however the torque is reduced (power stays the same) and they grind to a halt on a dry screen. The proper two speed motors have an additional brush part way round the commutator - which is switched in for the higher speed. It 'may' be possible to fit that 3 brush holder to a standard motor - I have the parts but not the enthusiasm to try it!
