Rear brake fittings

Hey guys, i have recently gotten my first minor, a 1951 high light sidevalve, planning on having it as my daily (a few teething problems, but i now know that a 1000 generator will fit a sidevalve engine

).

I am currently rebuilding the brake system due to a few leaks and stuck pistons.

Could anyone tell me the size/thread of the rear brake fittings, i.e. the ones for the brakelines to the T connector and the ones to the rear cylinders.

I am informed by Graham Holt, he who knows about these things, that the thread size for both ends of the pipe from the T piece to the wheel cylinder is 3/8 BSF. For the A series rear axle the thread size is 3/8 UNF.

And an A-series is NOT a straight swap with a sidevalve for your information, the crossmember under the battery tray does not have the curve for all the overhead valve nonsense

is that the right thread for the front brakes for a series mm?
