Any tips on fitting the front doors to my traveller?
Having major problems in getting them to fit!

Are they the original doors for that car? Has the A pillar been recently replaced, cut, fiddled with or welded in any way?
In what way do the not fit?

Thanks for the posts
I have bought a project that was 3/4 completed by somebody else, so not too easy to answer the questions, but the post looks original, but the doors could be from a different car
The main problem seems to be when the door is on and adjusted to fit, the door at the handle end will not close, even with all my might I cannot get it to go in far enough to click shut
It is almost like the doors are wrong, I know 2 door saloon would fit a traveller, but what if they come from a 4 door car, would they be wrong?

No, thats not possible, 4 door front doors are much smaller. Try adjusting the little chrome socket bracket and the striker plate on the B post. Loosen the screws and move them back and forth and see if the door now clicks shut. The striker plate that the door latch clicks behind may need to come outwards and the chrome socket that the door chrome locating peg fits in may need to go in (towards the inside of the car). On my trav, these work loose and need adjusting every now and again. loctite the threads once you've found the position that allows the door to shut.

I would start by removing he door seal, then see if you can get it to shut and line up with the wing and b post.

Follow Les' advice. remove the door seal and then see if you can set the door level ,at both front and rear edges, with the rest of the car. You can move the front hinges(on the A pillar) up,down, in, and out and also add home made shims if necessary. Mark the starting position with a pencil line so you know where you started from. If you manage to get a good fit and refitting the draught seal mucks it up then the flange on to which it fits can be bent appropriately.
