Update time.......%**##! C pillar section now fitted!!!

Ok well it was out with the tape measure, grinder, welder and hammer this weekend. The C pillar section is now in, excuse the untidy welding, and it fits quite well after a bit of reshaping, i also fitted the arch flange repair section, im going to have to make the wing mounting holes a bit bigger as the trap nuts are wrongly spaced on the section and i need to gain half an inch (!!!) on 2 holes! ( If you look closely on the last picture you can see my scribed centre line and where the new trap nut ended up, its not my fault though as i measured the distances on the repair panel and they're wrong!)

know how you feel, lucky for me and very unlucky for my friends i am a welding idiot and managed to threaten people to do for me on both sides!!!!! nice job by the way.
(ps id like to thank David and Paddy for that and putting up with my rubbish over the years)

I know how you feel, I did my 'C' Pillar this weekend as well, and yes, it was a pig, I've put the piccies here

the repair sections are an abomination, totally unlike the existing one. I think I've made it fit though.

Andrew and Youngun, repairs looking good! I'm probably going to have to do C pillars next year when I do my 4-door.
