traveller to pickup

hi i'm new to this site, so please go easy on me.
i'm sure the conversion has been done before from a traveller to pickup, as this is what a friend is doing making a light wieght pickup.
i was wondering how and where to add strengthening to the chassis.

Steve foreman of woodies nr chichester had one that he converted into a pickup he would be a good person to ask about this type of conversion

We made a seperate chassis for our trav and after stripping down our other trav to a bare frame I would worry about the strength.
Have you considered a seperate chassis?
took us 6 evenings from steel to rolling with suspension.

Buick why have you not got a current photo of the Traveller in your signature unusual colour schemes are always welcome.

extra strengthening was added from the b post back too in front of the rear wheels and an extra 5" extension to the b post
