Extra electrics

Like many I have added a (discrete) radio/CD player in my Minor and want to add a hidden cigarette lighter for charging my phone.

The radio has its own fuse and gets power from the always on side of the fuse box.

The cigarette lighter will go to the ignition on side of the fusebox but I think it needs and inline fuse of 10a? Does that sound ok? Don't want no fires and stuff

If you are only going to charge a phone, then I would fit a 2 amp fuse and try to charge the phone. If it is ok then fine. Start with the lowest rating first and work up if needed.
