1950 lowlight chassis number question

Hi, I have a 1950 lowlight tourer, (in Australia) which I requested a heritage certificate for, they replied that my car was a CKD exported to Australia. and they did not have any records for CKD cars.
I know the chassis number: 56815 from the chassis plate, but I cannot find the chassis number on the bulkhead where I thought it should be stamped on.
Did the early CKD cars have this number stamped on the bulkhead or not?
Cheers, Julian James.

It should be stamped on the bulkhead just below were the wiring loom comes from the dashboard. Sometimes it can be hard to make out especailly if the car has been repainted.

On my lowlight (which is only weeks younger than yours) the number is on the LHS lever arm damper bracket.

Mine was a PKD car though

on the early cars the rear axle also has the body number stamped on it, if you can find it under the muck and grime!
