Morris Oxford MO

I came across a picture earlier today of an Oxford MO and in side profile it looks like a stretched Minor.
Did it share any parts, either mechanically or body, with the Minor ?

AFAIK very few, having asked an Oxford owner exactly that at a classic car rally.

I think the carb (early SU) and the battery may be common.

Paul, I have a full 'knock down' illustrated book on the early Minors through to the MO, its mainly a panel directory but it might well have mech references too, I'll have a look at work tomorrow. :D :wink:

Ha! Good spot! IIRC it was owned by a relative of the chap who resprayed our car. Last seen (by me) at a show in Cheshire a couple of years ago.

Hope it goes to someone who can do the necessary work.
