Finished at last (nearly)

Here are some Photos of my 1957 minor that i've recently had resprayed.
I've owned it for about 14 years now so it was about time I got it resprayed as the paint on it was flaking off & a horible colour.
I started work on it last year with the usual optimism only to find the n,s sill & floor was worse than I first thought so had to replace the lot which delayed things a bit. its not quite finished yet as I still have to sort out the interior & a few mechanical items but its getting there

Looking great - wide van wheels too - very well done! But with all these dials - I don't see the MOST important one - an Oil Pressure gauge !

It was in one piece (sort of) when I saw it the other week, just lacking interior. Its does look great in the flesh too

Mogwai What colour is that?
Its growing on me and cant help thinking scabby the trav might look nicer that colour than maroon 8)

Nice job! I too like the subtle mods and the green colour. Is it original shade? doesn't look like Almond green or BRG. Digital photos can be deceptive though on colour.

Its now back to its original colour the imaginatively named Dark Green paint code GN12 .I believe it was only used on the minor for about 3 years in the 50s so I would imagine not to many about in this colour

We have a 1956 splitscreen in GN12. Lovely colour.
