Can I just say Hurrah?

Phyllis passed her MOT this afternoon, no works required and nothing dropped off!

Rather please with that. Surprised, but pleased. :)
Happy Minoring!

Ruby failed her MOT last saturday :(

She needs some welding but nothing major and as she's passed the last 3 MOT's without anything needing doing I won't hold it against her.

She's 40 on Thursday so a slightly rusty bottom isn't too bad. At least nothings sagging yet

Congratulations! It's always good when they pass without any work.
Unfortunatly I was on my way to the MOT station this morning with my mog after giving her a full repaint underneath and . . . . the head gasket blew, losing compression on not one but TWO cylinders!!! it's currently sitting in a side road awaiting a rescue

Oh no, how awful for you both.

There again - getting a pass for less than £40 was nice this year. Last year the MoT cost over £600! Swings and roundabouts, eh?
Happy Minoring!

Thats a real pain, which one was it as there are 3 in your signature, at least you are not without transport.
Cheers

Unfortunatly the one on the left. . . .my everyday run about! The convertible only comes out in the hight of season and pickup is in bits!! So. . . . it breaks my heart but I'm having to resort to a modern 'eurobox' for the daily commute. . . .Sorry for letting the side down folks!

Best of luck, I thought I had it covered with a fresh coat of hammerite, new wheel barings, track rods and a trunion. . . .(I only use undereal on the wheel arches that way I can see exactly what's going on) . . . . .but then . . .DISASTER! I nearly died of embarasment phoning the MOT man to see if his tow truck was free, which it wasn't so mum had to tow me home . . . She's only been driving 6 months (Girl power!) just to add the excitement of the whole event :o Still, such is life
