.....Could I use to spruce up sunvisors?
The pair I have (1958) have a sort of stamped thin hardboard cover rather than the rooflining type material of later 1098's.

I would opt for an eggshell paint finish, thinned and applied with a small airbrush such as the Badger Pro Gun. So any exterior eggshell paint would do.
