Woke me up this morning at 12.57 am.

Did anyone else feel the earth move!

It woke my parents and a couple of pictures fell off the wall. I slept right through it. :roll:

YEP! we were all eating pizza in my Uni flat when everything started to shake!

Straight onto the BBC news and apparently its the biggets one for quite a few years!

4.7 on the Richter Scale.

I honestly thought,Waking from deep sleep,I'd left my mobile on and it was vibrating next to my bed. :roll:
Turned over and resumed my kip.

well tell ya all the truth no one i have spoke to in Norfolk felt it and we was ment to feel it as well as right next to the county that did so i can not say and i was in the garage untill 2 am yet again still trying to get the convertible finished by 1 april so i can not see how people in london and kent got the tremmer ??????/

It woke me up just before 1am in Leicester with my wardrobe doors rattling like crazy and a mirror fell off a shelf in the bathroom but didn't break though.

I had the pleasure to be awake and hear it coming. The windows rattled for quite a few seconds before the real tremmors got underway.
We had a ~4 a few years back here in Warwickshire, but that didn't have as much energy as this one.

The last big one we had (84?) I also recollect - I got up the next day eager to talk about it and everyone I met thought I'd dreampt it!
