CKDs

How did CKDs compare in quality / longevity with homebrewed Minors? Anyone know?

I thought the Cowley Minors went through a 'rotadip' rust preventative process clearly missing in the Dutch videos I/we know they have still gone rusty but apart from the guy with the large brush on the floorpan not much else appears to have been done.
I believe the majority of CKD were virtually finished for assembly abroad.

Bill should be able to give an insite into this as I believe he was a little involved with this side of things in the past
