50th v 60th

Post by overider »

I have noticed lots of Morris minor 50 years commemorative things from specially commissioned prints cups teapot gold plated Morris minor models the list goes on.
But so far all I have seen of the 60th is the official regalia from the club i.e. tea-shirts fleece jackets calendars etc.
Is they more things planned or was the 50th a bigger event?????

We wint know until its over and it will all come down to those that attend on the day I believe the total number of cars at Blenheim Palace was in the region of 2,500 over the 2 days.

There are lots of things being ordered/production/final stages of planning as regards momentos of the 60th event. Watch this space!

The main thing that will make the Event something to really remember is if we can get as many cars out of their garages and to Stanford Hall and all have a good time. After all thats what its really all about in the end isn't it?

I'm considering a 60th Anniversary momento for those that take part in this years LEO Run. So come on, make 2008 the year you really 'use' your car :D

I agree with you on that Lou, lets hope as many turn out as at Blenheim Palace in 1998 :D

Sarah still has the Blenheim Palace 'bug' on her dashboard! Hopefully they'll produce something similar this time around.
