Got a bit of a stinker today

Drink most days in moderation but had a bit of bad news yesterday (best mates girlfriend lost her battle with cancer) so err had a few too many.
A glass of andrews stuff has done nothing, i couldnt face a hair of the dog for all the tea in china and cant be bothered to cook a fry up !
Cant bear the thought of feeding the geese what with the racket they make, and the pig needs moisurising lotion rubbing on its back as her skins getting a bit dry. oh i really could do without doing 3 rounds with the oinker its mighty strong & VERY loud for its size.
Maybe I'll just have to work it off

Neurofen and a brisk walk

Def second the neurofen and excersice. Then have a hot bath.
But also rehydrate - so drink lots o water, though pineapple juice seems quite good too - maybe its the fructose?
And get in a big bowl of simple carbs - chips, with salt, vinegar & brown sauce works for me

I used to get bad migraines every week that lasted 3 days (they have subsided since I took early retirement !).
Work (Civil Service) were concerned it was work related (VDU, flourecent lights etc) so authorised a specialist to investigate.
One of the first things he did was see if he could find "triggers".
One, for me, is alcohol
Why couldn't it be chocolate or cheese like most people
I haven't had a drink since 1988 but certainly don't miss the hangovers.

The hang-over is from a lack of fluid around your brain (so I understand it). Sugar will act as a pick-me-up for a short time but the only thing to cure the hang-over is time and water. Try a sports drink which are said to help you take in the fluid quicker. Orange juice always does wonders but there's no need to drink loads as the body will only take it what it needs.

Many on here will tell you I'm sadly lacking in that department
Got rid of it mostly with a fry up in the end, but it never went properly for 48 hours

Orange juice is apparently good if sea sick too - so I was told by a friend who had crewed a yacht across the Atlantic -
It doesn't stop you from being sick, but tastes the same on the way back up, so isn't that bad !!!
(Sorry)
