export to the states !!
Yes indeedy.... towards the end of the year we will be emigrating to the states (Pheonix, Arizona) and I intend to take my morris with me... shipping costs an arm and a leg, unless someone here can suggest a less expensive way of doing it ..... but my other concern is how do I go about registering the car once over there and what problems I may encounter ??Hopefully someone on the site may be able to help, Many thanks.

You will need to contact Pheonix Traffic Advice Office to find out the state laws for that state. I'm pretty sure you should be ok without any modifications being required, but the minimum you should check are
1: Bumper regulations
2: Emission regulations
3: Lighting regulations
The local Sherrifs Office should be able to point you to the correct department, if not supply the information directly.
Also, if you ever intend to cross the state line, additional information will be required. Where my sister lives (California) the state troopers are great. They drove a 100 mile round trip, to buy a fanbelt for her Lincon, then fitted it! They only get testy is you refuse to stop
