Bristol mystery moggy owner

I had a note under my windscreen wiper last week. A fellow Trav owner had noticed my roof bars, and wanted to point out that roof bars are likely to overstretch the aluminium that they're mounted on at the back.
If you're out there, mystery person, hello! -and thank you, it was a kind thought.
...I do take care not to overload the bars; I trug a Canadian canoe around on them, with the C of G well forward so that the bar over the front seats takes the greater part of the load. Also the occasional bicycle and tandem.
