For the 5th Year Running Heywood railway station will be hosting the Morris Minor day. Sunday 15th June 2008.

Free Travel for Driver and one passenger. Other passengers Travel for the concession rate of £7.60!....13 miles of Heritage line on board one of our restored steam locos...Car park opens at 9-30am first train from Heywood 10-20am.

I would love to come to this - but it clashes with the Classic car event at Bo'ness Steam Railway on the same day! And I am Guard that day. So - all those who live nearer to Bo'ness will be made very welcome. We have the same 'free travel' deal - and I will even let you wave the Green Flag!
