Plenty of bids already.
Looking at it I suspect its a bit of an handful to drive.
Also what do 13 leaf rear springs look like?
The back part must be rather heavy and there's no mention of uprated brakes.
The aerodynamics look very poor and I wouldn't want to be driving in any kind of side wind

Looks like a dealer out to make a profit on it, not that theres anything wrong with that, just seems odd to buy something on ebay and then immediately list it on ebay again, when everyones just seen what it sold for before... Good luck to the guy, he'd have been £600 up if he hadn't have had a reserve on it last time. Be nice to see it with a proper new owner though.

like there was more than one??? A very limited production runonly production model to have survived

Quite. The wierd and wonderful world of ebay... Goes to show, the more times its listed, the more folk get fed up, or suspicious of it and hence less likely to bid. Bet he wishes he'd took the reserve off first time round.n the auction that finished 9th jan £2995.00.

On the other, more cynical hand he may have had a mate bid it up right to the point of nearly meeting the reserve of say £3000 hoping that a real punter would come in and buy it. May be wrong, but who knows...

On the assumption that the last owner no longer has an interest in it, may I just say that IMHO it's worth, at best, a grand as the basis for a van/pick-up? It'd need a fortune spending on it to make it driveable/practical as is - and yes, I have seen it in real life.

I had a good look round it when the previous owner was trying to sell it at the LCV do at Avoncroft in 2003 (when it was still blue) and was a little tempted. Asking price was £1400 then though at which I thought it might be an interesting proposition. The recent prices have been harder to justify so we've been, er, less tempted! Personal circumstances chang too. I was single then, and a tiny tent did me for weekend shows. Married now, so the more civilised Minor camper concept is more interesting...
